More than 700,000 Canadians live with uncontrolled LDL cholesterol, an important risk factor for CVD. The Student Challenge elicits creative solutions to get Canadians engaged and motivated about this crucial factor in long-term cardiovascular health. Students will share their bold visions for their marketing campaigns to raise public awareness and motivate actions toward healthy cholesterol management.

Preventing and reducing the burden of CVD is everyone’s business. From government to corporations, and citizens to physicians, stakeholders share responsibility to transform CVD care. Across three cities and virtually across the country, the Biome CVD Summit has laid the foundation for transformational change in Canadian cardiovascular care. Together, we have reimagined solutions to one of Canada’s most pressing public health challenges. In closing, we look at where our movement goes after Montreal. We have drafted a blueprint for change with the potential to improve the lives and health of millions of Canadians. Now we must carry it forward into action.
